Interested in hearing about what the academic technology team is up to over the summer?  Sign up for the newsletter to find out!

The May 2013 Academic Technology Newsletter will be coming soon to the email inboxes of subscribers.  If you’d like to be one of those subscribers, you can do so by clicking this link and filling out the form you find there. All we need is your email address and you’ll be good to go!

This month’s issue is an end-of-the-year edition for the summer in which we give some thought to what to do to recharge over the summer, as well as some technology issues in education to keep in mind over the next couple of months. In this issue’s “Note from Gene,” W&M’s Academic Information Services director Gene Roche (and blog contributor) talks about one of the things he’s going to be up to this summer: reading and reflecting on Higher Education in the Digital Age, written by William Bowen, former president of Princeton University and of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

As usual, in the newsletter we’ll also provide you with updates on projects we’re working on, and links to blog posts that you may have missed out on.

In case you missed them, here’re the February 2013 and April 2013 newsletters.
